Welcome to OMCT 2026 | Xi'an, China
The International Conference on Optoelectronic Materials and Communication Technology (OMCT2026) will be held during October 16th-18th, 2026 in Xi'an, China. A key aspect of this conference is the strong mixture of academia and industry. OMCT2026 is organized by Intelligent Photonics Application Technology Laboratory of the School of Information and Communication Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University (iPatLab) and Fujian Province Key Laboratory of Computer Vision and Machine Learning (Huaqiao University), co-organized by Taylor’s University-Center for Intelligent Innovations (CII), technically sponsored by IEEE ComSoc France Chapter. It focuses to present the latest theoretical advances and experimental state of the art in the newly developing field of Optoelectronic Technology and Communication Engineering, with special emphasis on the application of light in communication, information storage and processing. OMCT aims to share research results, advance the development of the discipline and promote the cultivation of talents. Original contributions are welcome and will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. The conference sincerely invites experts and scholars from domestic and foreign universities, research institutions, business people and other relevant personnel to attend and exchange ideas.

Publication
All papers submitted to OMCT will be reviewed by two or three expert reviewers from the conference committees. After a careful reviewing process, all accepted papers will be published by SPIE-The International Society for Optical Engineering (ISSN: 0277-786X) in the conference proceedings, then submitted for indexing in EI Compendex, SCOPUS and other databases.
